Come hear the benefits to being a part of the Summer Food Service/Summer Camp Program! Most kids cannot wait for school to let out in June.  However, for some parents and other caretakers, when school is out for summer, they begin to worry about how they will feed their children a nutritious breakfast or lunch and wholesome activities to keep them engaged and safe.

New Faith Temple Community Development Corporation in partnership with  the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service fills this summer meal and activities gap for many low-income families by feeding children when school meals aren’t available. The summer nutrition program serves two (2) meals a day, Monday through Friday to all children through age 18. The programs will also operate activities for children that are safe and fun. Children receive complete, wholesome meals, and parents receive help in stretching their food dollars.

The summertime meals are served at New Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, 1701 Kalamazoo Ave SE Grand Rapids,, Michigan.  .New Faith Temple Community Development Corporation’s summer nutrition program helps feed children by serving healthy meals during the summer months.
